 The 93rd Foundation Day of Bukidnon is the concluding event of the Kaamulan Festival. Hon. Jose Ma. R. Zubiri, Jr. in his last term as the governor in the province of Bukidnon wanted to make a difference with the Foundation Day celebration. Instead of the civic parade made annually, a torch parade was done as the sun sets on March 10, 2010. It was participated in by the local government units in the province of Bukidnon, the government employees and the non-government organizations all through out Bukidnon.

 The Local Government of Kadingilan (a fourth class municipality from the 3rd district) Bukidnon welcomed Governor Jose Ma. R. Zubiri, Jr., and Vice Governor Alex Calingasan during their scheduled visit to all the barangays from the said municipality. The week long visit started January 26, 2010 with the farthest barangay of the municipality Kibalagon and it ended January 29, 2010 with barangay Poblacion.

Valencia City’s Golden Harvest Festival |

 Valencia City celebrated its 9th Charter Day with a month long Golden Harvest Festival with events and festivities that showcased their crops and skills in making Valencia as the City of Golden Harvest. The celebration started December 12, 2009 with an opening night highlighted with a fireworks display.
Other activities included the Cheer Dance Competition (High
School/College), Rodeo, Roadside Christmas Décor Contest, Folk Dance
Contest (Grade School, High School, College), Tugtugan sa Dalan (Drum
& Lyre Competition) and the first ever PRO-PYRO Challenge in
Bukidnon.

PGB Celebrated Christmas with the Dance of Yesteryears (60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s) |

The Provincial Government of Bukidnon had its annual Christmas Party at the Kaamulan Open Theater last December 18, 2009. The Party was highlighted with a dance contest with the theme “PGB Dances Modern Dance of Yesteryears” featuring the dance hits from 1960’s to 1990’s. Employees of all age were able to participate in the contest since it was categorized by age bracket. (60’s : 55 above , 70’s : 45-54, 80’s : 35-44 , 90’s : 34 below)
