Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, the founder and leader of The Kingdom of Jesus Christ, a Philippine based church took time to visit the Province of Bukidnon together with more than 60 barangay captains from Davao City, October 8, 2009.
Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri welcomed Pastor Quiboloy and his party with great hospitality with Malaybalay City Vice Mayor Iñaki Zubiri.
Pastor Quiboloy in his message pointed out his concern and sincerity for progress. He mentioned that the visit is not about his ministry but it is because he sees Bukidnon as a good example for progress. He also emphasized that he supports people with ideas for the welfare of the people.
Senator Zubiri was very proud to present the best practices in Bukidnon together the Program Manager of the Provincial Indigency Health Program, Ms. Marie Carmen C. Unabia. The Pillars for Development that are being used as a guide towards a progressive Bukidnon were presented and it was focused on the Provincial Indigency Health Program and the Housing and Resettlement program called “Pag-laum Villages.”
The visitors had a tour around some parts Bukidnon to have a glimpse of the housing and resettlement sites in the province, the premier Provincial Hospitals and the newly constructed Municipal Halls and other infrastructures supported by the provincial government.
Pastor Quiboloy was met by Governor Jose Ma. R. Zubiri, Jr. at Don Carlos Bukidnon where they further discussed the Bukidnon Health System that helped 162,000 families, hundreds of thousands members, each with qualified dependents.
The Provincial Government of Bukidnon received commendations from Pastor Quiboloy for its best practices. The visitors were amazed and grateful with their Bukidnon experience and would encourage replication of such in their own barangays. As what Governor Zubiri usually says “Bukidnon makes the difference.”
